Second Period
Mr.B has been doing a fantastic job with all three levels of creative writing as expected. I always find myself smiling while I listen to little tips and advice he gives the new writers. In a sense, I feel kind of old knowing that I've heard these things a million times. The other creative writing three students and I are very pleased and excited about the writings we've heard this far.
Birnstihl is really pushing this slam poetry thing for me which is needed I suppose. I've been spending most of my time thinking of new lines and imagery to include in my poems. Crunch time is near and I'm not nervous, but I'm also not feeling anything, which could be very concerning. Focusing on high spirits and quality writing is what I've been doing. That's all for this entry, sorry not sorry that it's probably not long enough. I love my teacher though.
I love how insightful your comments to the other students are as well. I can tell you have really grown to think about writing on a deeper level. And yes, I'm going to push you and try to motivate you about slamming. I want to see you make nationals this year! I will be there CHEERING my head off for you at every slam that I can make it to. I believe in you!
